Pickleball Katy and Schafer Badminton Academy Open 11-Court Sports Complex

Pickleball Katy and Schafer Badminton Academy are set to open a new indoor sports facility featuring 11 courts in Katy, Texas. The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on March 15 at 24825 Roesner Road.

A Premier Destination for Pickleball and Badminton

The new facility will offer 24-hour access for members and day passes for casual players. It will also host pickleball and badminton tournaments, giving local athletes a dedicated space to train and compete.

Facility features include:

  • 11 total courts:
    • Six cushioned courts for added comfort
    • Five hard-surface courts for competitive play
  • A fully equipped gym for strength training
  • A bar area with beer, soft drinks, and snacks for socializing

Kevin Guo, owner and manager of Pickleball Katy, emphasized that the new facility is designed to be more than just a sports center.

“We hope to encourage local residents to participate because this will be a great experience for them. Besides playing sports, our facility offers a gym for strength training, a bar area for socializing, and an overall fun and healthy entertainment space. Expanding Badminton and Pickleball in Katy

This new location joins Schafer Badminton Academy’s existing facility in Stafford, Texas, at 4755 Alpine Road. The partnership between Pickleball Katy and Schafer Badminton Academy aims to grow both sports in the Houston area, providing more options for players of all skill levels.
