The Southern Colorado Regional Pickleball Championship will take place from September 12 to September 14, 2025, at Mineral Palace Park in Pueblo, Colorado. Hosted by the Pueblo County Pickleball Association (PCPA), this tournament aims to provide a premier pickleball experience for the local community while supporting the growth of the sport in the region.
Tournament Details
This pickleball event will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.5+. Age brackets for 2.5 to 3.5 and 3.5 to 4.0 will be split into Under 54 and 55+, while Men’s Doubles 4.0-4.5 and 4.5+ will be open to all ages. Matches will follow a round-robin format, with self-refereed games.
Registration Information
Registration opens on March 15, 2025, and closes on September 2, 2025. The registration fee is $50, which includes entry into one event. Additional events are available for $10 each. To ensure eligibility, players must pay all fees and sign waivers upon registration. Unpaid registrations will be moved to the waitlist after five days.
Venue and Parking
The pickleball tournament will be held at Mineral Palace Park, located at 151 E. 19th Street in Pueblo. Parking is available in the large lot south of the courts and a smaller lot to the north.
Additional parking is available throughout the park and surrounding neighborhood. Spectators can enjoy the games from designated areas outside the exterior fence, with ample seating and space for chairs and canopies.
Refund and Weather Policy
Refunds are available up to September 3, 2025, minus a $15 processing fee. In the event of adverse weather, the tournament will try to accommodate safe play at an alternate indoor venue, to be confirmed closer to the event. Refunds will be issued if events are canceled due to insufficient registration or bracket issues.
