The inaugural Tillamook Cowbell Classic will take place on June 21 and June 22, 2025, at Al Griffin Park in Bay City, Oregon. The pickleball tournament will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles matches using a round-robin format. Registration opens on March 16 and closes on June 13.
Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and gift bag. A raffle and barbecue will be held after the matches on June 21.
Tournament Format and Schedule
Matches will be divided into three skill levels: 3.0 and under, 3.5, and 4.0 and above. Age brackets will be finalized after registration closes, with players grouped as close as possible into 50 and under, 51-69, and 70 and older.
- Saturday, June 21: Men’s doubles at Al Griffin Park, women’s doubles at Tillamook County Fairgrounds.
- Sunday, June 22: Mixed doubles at Al Griffin Park.
Brackets may be adjusted to maintain competitive play. Players must self-rate their skill levels, and tournament officials may reassign participants based on past performance.
Registration and Fees
Early registration is $50 through April 16. The fee increases to $60 from April 17 to May 16, and to $70 after that. Tillamook Pickleball Club members receive free early registration for one event. Additional events cost $25. Doubles partners must register within seven days, or the team will be placed on the waitlist.
Venue and Weather Policy
Matches will take place at multiple locations. Players should check their registration confirmation for details. Free parking is available at both venues. In case of bad weather, some events may move indoors to the Tillamook County Fairgrounds. Updates will be posted as needed.
