Pickleball Training for Advanced Beginners
The classes are designed for advanced beginners looking to hone their skills. Participants will learn key techniques, including serving, ball control, and proper court positioning. Lessons take place at Pickleball Courts 10 and 11 at DeMuth Park, located at 4365 Mesquite Avenue, Palm Springs.
Instruction will cover the fundamental rules of pickleball: keeping the ball in bounds, allowing one bounce per side, serving from the baseline, avoiding the no-volley zone on serves, and reaching the designated point total to win a game.
Registration and Costs
Annual recreation memberships are required to participate. Residents can join for $5, while non-residents must pay $102. The cost for the four-lesson program is $95 for months with four Thursdays and $115 for months with five Thursdays.
Participants must have one of the following memberships: City Annual – LC, Demuth City Annual, or JOJDHUC City Annual. Registration can be completed through the city’s recreational services.
