Cape Gazette Pickleball Tournament Benefits the Harry K Foundation for a Major Purpose

Pickleball players of all skill levels will gather for the Cape Gazette Pickleball Tournament, taking place on Friday and Saturday at Nassau Commons. The event features men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles play, divided by age and skill level. Proceeds will benefit the Harry K Foundation’s mission to combat childhood hunger in Delaware.

Competitive Play for a Cause

The tournament offers men’s and women’s doubles on Friday, with mixed doubles on Saturday. Players will compete in two age groups—18-49 and 50+—and skill divisions of 3.0 and below, 3.5, and 4.0+. Organizers reserve the right to adjust brackets to ensure competitive matchups. Winners will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.

A Festival Atmosphere

As part of the Run & Fun Fest at the Commons, participants and spectators can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the event. The festival includes a beer garden featuring local brewers, a cornhole competition, live music from Lower Case Blues, food trucks, and entertainment for all ages.

Added Perks for Players

Each registered player will receive an event t-shirt, two beer tickets for post-tournament refreshments, and plenty of competitive pickleball play. Tournament brackets will be finalized after registration closes to ensure the best matchups for participants.
