Antigo’s Summer Slam and Jam Pickleball Tournament: Where Community and Competition Collide

The first-ever Summer Slam and Jam Pickleball Tournament will take place on June 28 at the newly built Jaycee Park Pickleball Courts in Antigo. The tournament will feature multiple divisions, medals for top players, and various amenities for participants and spectators.

The 16 dedicated, individually fenced courts at 915 10th Ave. will officially open on June 27 with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. “With 16 dedicated, individually fenced courts, this is an event that you won’t want to miss,” said Jodi Zalewski, president of the Antigo Pickleball Club.

Grand Opening Celebration

The community is invited to attend the June 27 celebration, which will include exhibition matches, open play, and a learn-to-play session.

Attendees can enjoy food trucks, raffle baskets, and a fun-filled night at the courts.

Tournament Highlights

The tournament will offer medals for first through third place in all divisions. Players will receive a swag bag, snacks, and access to food trucks throughout the day.

If it rains on June 28, the event will be rescheduled for June 29. Participants must provide their partner’s name, email, and T-shirt size when registering.
