The LRC 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 Women’s Doubles March Meltdown DUPR Pickleball Tournament will take place on March 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Longview Recreation Center in Spring Hill. The event is open to women of various skill levels.
Event Details
Participants will compete in women’s doubles matches across four skill levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0. The entry fee is $30 per person. Each participant must register with a doubles partner. After registering, players should text Shana at (916) 849-5159 to confirm their partner and skill level.
Tournament Format
This non-sanctioned tournament will feature standard pickleball play. Matches will be self-officiated, with scores recorded in the Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR). The tournament will follow a round-robin or double-elimination format, depending on the number of teams in each skill level. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each category.
Tournament Conditions
The primary balls used will be Jugs Green Indoor Pickleballs for skill levels 2.5 and 3.0, and Onix Yellow Indoor Pickleballs for skill levels 3.5 and 4.0. The tournament will take place on a wood floor surface with a deluxe temporary net. A 24-hour cancellation policy is in place for account credits or refunds.
This tournament provides an excellent opportunity for women to showcase their skills in a fun, social environment while engaging with the local pickleball community.
