San Antonio Amateur Open Pickleball Tournament Set for June 2025, at Texas Pickle Hall

The San Antonio Amateur Open will take place on June 14-15, 2025, at Texas Pickle Hall. Early bird registration is now open, allowing players to use the coupon code “Hall10off” for a $10 discount until May 14 at 8 AM or until the first 100 players register.

Event Details

The tournament will feature a round-robin format followed by brackets, with participants guaranteed 6 or more games. Players will compete using the Franklin X40 ball, and scores will be automatically posted to the Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) system. The schedule includes doubles on Saturday, mixed doubles on Sunday, and singles available on either day.

Participants will receive custom medals and other awards. New this year, every player will earn PicklePerks rewards for event registration and victories during the tournament. These rewards can be used to purchase APA apparel or applied toward future events.

Cash Prize Division

For the first time, the 2025 event will include an OPEN Cash Prize division for men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with $2,000 in cash prizes available for each division. The event will be capped at 14 teams, making it essential for high-level teams to register quickly for a chance to compete for the cash prizes.
