County Officials Encourage Residents to Play
Bergen County Executive James Tedesco highlighted the benefits of opening the courts ahead of schedule.
“We’re very excited to be opening our County pickleball and tennis courts a little earlier this season. Our parks system provides our residents with spaces to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. I encourage everyone to take advantage of our incredible facilities and make the most of this beautiful spring weather!” – (Tedesco)
Commissioner Steven Tanelli also praised the move, emphasizing that the courts offer a great opportunity for residents to stay active and socialize.

Overpeck County Park – Ridgefield Park & Leonia Area
Riverside County Park – North & South, in Lyndhurst and North Arlington
Saddle River County Park – Rochelle Park & Glen Rock Area
Samuel Nelkin County Park – Wallington
Wood Dale County Park – Woodcliff Lake
Pascack Brook County Park – Westwood
Van Saun County Park – Paramus

Pickleball courts are open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. With the sport’s surging popularity, residents are encouraged to arrive early to secure a court.
