The Annual Spring Fling Pickleball Tournament will take place on March 22-23, 2025, at Rancho Conejo Playfields in Newbury Park, California. Hosted by Ventura County Pickleball Club (VCPC) and Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD), the event will feature multiple competitive divisions.
Players must register and pay as a team. The tournament is run on the SWISH App, and all participants must have the app downloaded and linked to their DUPR ID.
Tournament Format and Divisions
The tournament includes rotating partner and set partner round-robin formats.
- Saturday, March 22:
- Men’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
- Women’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
- Sunday, March 23:
- Mixed Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+
- Beginner’s Scramble (2.5-2.8) – No partner needed
- Youth Scramble – No partner needed
- Men’s Singles
- Senior Divisions (if numbers allow)
Tournament Details and Rules
Matches follow USA Pickleball 2025 rules, using Franklin X40 balls. Ten outdoor courts (six dedicated and four multi-use) will host games. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division, based on win/loss results from the SWISH App.
Players must use USA Pickleball-approved paddles and adhere to the official dress code. A waiver must be signed at check-in.
Registration and Refund Policy
Players must ensure accurate skill ratings before registering. The VCPC Seeding Committee reserves the right to adjust placements. Refunds are available until March 14, 2025, with an $8 processing fee.
In case of cancellation due to weather, partial refunds will be issued.
