The Calabasas Pickleball Club officially opened its doors on June 1, 2024, featuring 16 state-of-the-art courts and a thriving community. Founded by lifelong friends Brad and Brian, along with Daryl Wizelman, the club aims to bring together pickleball enthusiasts in Calabasas, California.
Founders’ Journey
Brad and Brian met at Chaparral Elementary School 35 years ago and reconnected over their shared love of sports. In 2020, they discovered pickleball and quickly became passionate about the game. Their friendship expanded when they met Daryl Wizelman in early 2021, and together they formed a surging pickleball circle.
From Vision to Reality
As the demand for pickleball courts increased, the trio decided to create a dedicated space for players. They found the perfect land, previously an equestrian facility, and transformed it into a pickleball paradise. The club now sits on a six-acre site surrounded by stunning mountain views, providing an exclusive atmosphere for players.
Facilities and Amenities
The Calabasas Pickleball Club boasts 16 permanent outdoor courts, with plans for eight additional covered courts in the coming years. Members can enjoy first-class amenities, including air-conditioned restrooms and on-site parking. In the future, the club will also offer food and beverage options to enhance the experience.
Membership Options
The club offers flexible membership tiers—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—to accommodate all players, from solo competitors to families. This inclusivity ensures everyone has access to top-tier pickleball and a welcoming community.
