Montgomery Village Women’s Pickleball League: The Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) is bringing back its Women’s Doubles Pickleball League this spring, offering a fun and competitive experience for local players. The league runs from April 15 to May 20 at the Lake Marion Community Center, with matches held every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A Social and Competitive League for Women
This adult women’s pickleball league provides an opportunity for players to team up with friends, meet new people, and enjoy an evening of fitness and competition. The league follows a doubles format, and each game day includes two matches. Every match follows a best-of-three format, with each game played to 11 points. Matches are self-officiated, but a site supervisor will be available for assistance.
Players must register individually and provide their team name, partner’s name, skill level, t-shirt size, and email address. While balls are provided, participants are required to bring their own paddles.
Event Details and Registration Information
The league is open to adult women and will be held indoors at the Lake Marion Community Center Gymnasium. Registration is required in advance, and skill level guidelines can be found on the USA Pickleball website.
This event is part of MVF’s ongoing efforts to promote recreational activities in the community. Whether players are experienced or just starting, the league offers a welcoming environment to improve skills and enjoy the sport.
