This exciting tournament will feature a round robin format, with players competing for medals in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events. Registration opens March 20, 2025, and closes on October 12, 2025.
Tournament Overview
The Wine Country Classic will attract pickleball players of all skill levels. The competition will be a circuit stop for the US Senior Pickleball Nationals, offering players the chance to earn valuable points. Men’s and Women’s Singles, as well as Mini-Singles, will kick off the tournament on Friday, October 17. Saturday, October 18, will feature Men’s and Women’s Doubles, followed by Mixed Doubles on Sunday, October 19.
Registration Details
The registration fee for the tournament is $60 if paid before July 1, 2025. After that, the price increases to $70 until August 31, 2025, and $80 starting September 1, 2025. Players can also register late for $100 if spots remain available. USSP members enjoy a $10 discount on registration fees.
Tournament Format
The tournament will use a round robin format, where teams compete in group stages, followed by a single-elimination medal round. Matches in the doubles events will be played to 15 points, except for the Gold Medal match, which will be played in a best of 2 out of 3 format to 11 points. Singles matches will use rally scoring and go to 21 points, with the Gold Medal match played to 15 points.
Venue and Parking Information
The tournament will be hosted at the Paso Robles Pickleball Club, located at 600 Nickerson Drive in Paso Robles, CA. Parking is free, but on Sunday, parking will be restricted to areas under the solar panels in the parking lot.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available up to one week before the event, minus a small processing fee. Partial refunds may be issued at the discretion of the tournament director depending on the situation.
