Pickle Zone will feature heated and air-conditioned courts with large playing areas and concrete surfaces. Unlike multi-sport gyms, this facility is designed specifically for pickleball. “A state-of-the-art professional-level environment with indirect lighting producing up to 90-foot candles on the court,” the company said in a release.
Flexible Access and Pricing
The facility will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with court reservations available through the Court Reserve app. Rental costs are set at $30 per hour per court or $7.50 per person per hour for a standard four-player game. No membership is required, and instructor referrals are available.
A Vision for Better Indoor Play
The Pickle Zone is a private venture led by Jeannie Padgett, Jim Johnson, and Ken Martin, who recognized the need for dedicated indoor pickleball spaces. “Most indoor play is done in gyms with poor lighting and floors cluttered with multiple lines,” the release stated.
