Bounce Pickleball Transforms Warehouse: Malvern-based Bounce Pickleball is set to open a new indoor pickleball facility in Philadelphia, repurposing a former Di Bruno Brothers warehouse. The expansion will bring 12 courts and two warm-up courts to the city, following the model of its Malvern location.
The company has secured a lease for about 30,000 square feet inside the 64,000-square-foot warehouse. Bounce Pickleball considered multiple locations for its Philadelphia expansion, including the historic Wanamaker Building, but ultimately chose the warehouse due to cost and suitability for pickleball.

Facility Features and Community Focus
Bounce Pickleball aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment, emphasizing open play, instruction, and special events.
“We want to be the kind of space with a strong sense of community where everybody can find somebody to play with,” said Braden Keith, the company’s operations manager.
The conversion of the warehouse into a pickleball facility is expected to cost around $500,000. A key advantage of the site is its 42 dedicated parking spaces, which will improve accessibility for visitors.
Success in Malvern and Future Growth
Bounce Pickleball’s Malvern club has seen steady growth, with 2,300 paid members and an additional 2,400 non-members who participate in lessons or visit as guests. The company’s expansion into Philadelphia aligns with the rising popularity of pickleball nationwide.
“We should be able to get 12 courts and two warm-up courts in there,” Keith said, highlighting the scale of the new venue.
As the sport continues to grow, Bounce Pickleball’s expansion is expected to attract more players and foster a stronger pickleball community in the Philadelphia area.
