The Louisiana State Games Pickleball Tournament will take place from September 13-14, 2025, at the West Monroe Sports Facility in West Monroe, Louisiana. This event welcomes players from all skill levels and backgrounds, offering an opportunity to compete for a spot in the State Games of America.
The tournament features Men’s and Women’s Doubles on Saturday, followed by Mixed Doubles on Sunday. Registration costs $60 and includes one event, with additional events available for $15 each. Path to the State Games of America
The Louisiana State Games promotes amateur sports and offers medalists the chance to advance to the State Games of America, an Olympic-style competition featuring top athletes from 30 states. Gold, silver, and bronze medal winners from this event will qualify for the national tournament.
Tournament Format and Player Ratings
Matches will be self-monitored, with referees available upon request. Brackets will be organized by skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 5.0+ and age groups starting at 16+. If necessary, brackets may be combined based on age rather than skill level.
DUPR ratings will determine player placement. If a player’s rating changes after registration, the tournament staff will adjust their placement accordingly. Players with a DUPR reliability rating of 50 or lower may appeal their rating.
Registration and Equipment Guidelines
Registration is open from March 27, 2025, until September 7, 2025. Players must identify their doubles partner within five days of signing up, or they will be moved to a waitlist. A free tournament shirt is guaranteed for those who register by August 31 at 11:55 PM.
All paddles must be USA Pickleball-approved. Players are encouraged to review official USA Pickleball rules to ensure fair play throughout the event.
Refund Policy and Parking
Players may withdraw before August 25 and receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after this date unless tournament insurance has been purchased. Tournament insurance covers cancellations due to injury, family emergencies, or event cancellation.
Parking at the West Monroe Sports Facility is free for all attendees. With high-level competition and a pathway to a national event, the Louisiana State Games Pickleball Tournament offers an exciting opportunity for pickleball players across the region.
