Indoor Pickleball Club Blackwood: Pickleball players in Gloucester Township have a new indoor venue to enjoy, as Pickle Juice, a growing indoor pickleball club, has officially opened its second New Jersey location in Blackwood. Located beside Sam’s Bar and Grill, this four-court, climate-controlled facility offers both high-quality play and post-game refreshments.
State-of-the-Art Courts and Juice Bar
The Blackwood location features four Pro-Cushion® courts, designed for optimal comfort and bounce. After a game, players can recharge at the in-house juice bar, which serves freshly made, healthy drinks to help athletes refuel without feeling sluggish.
Currently in its soft opening phase, the facility welcomes visitors for free open play from 9:00 to 11:00 AM each day. While the courts are fully operational, additional amenities such as a Pro Shop and expanded seating areas are still being finalized.
Membership and Expansion Plans
Pickleball enthusiasts can sign up for memberships through the Pickle Juice app, which allows users to book courts, enter leagues, and manage memberships. Options include casual monthly plans and VIP tiers for dedicated players. Additionally, beginner-friendly classes will be available soon for newcomers to the sport.
Owner Lisa, a passionate pickleball player, started the brand in Ventnor Heights and built it from her love for the game. The unique name, Pickle Juice, comes from her personal routine of playing pickleball and grabbing a fresh juice afterward—a tradition she now shares with the community.
Following the success of the original location, expansion is already in the works, with plans to add two more courts in the near future.
