Hawaii’s Largest Pickleball Tournament: The Hawaii Pacific Health ESPN Honolulu Open, the biggest pickleball tournament in Hawaii, will take place at the Hawaii Convention Center from April 10 to April 13. With more than 800 players and 55 corporate teams competing for the Corporate Cup, the event promises thrilling competition and a celebration of the sport’s rapid growth.
A Massive Indoor Pickleball Experience
Hosted by the Oahu Pickleball Association, the tournament will feature over 30 courts on the convention center’s ground floor. Donna Ching, president of the Oahu Pickleball Association, expressed her excitement about the scale of the event.
“We’re thrilled to host Hawaii’s largest indoor pickleball tournament,” Ching said. “There will be more than 30 courts on the convention center’s ground floor, providing an incredible experience for players and spectators alike.”
Opportunities for Beginners and Fans
The event is designed for everyone, not just experienced players. Pickleball clinics will be available for those new to the sport, including sessions led by top professionals Morgan Evans and Jessie Irvine. Fans will also have the opportunity to browse an expo featuring the latest gear and network with the pickleball community.
Dean McColgan, Board Chair of the Oahu Pickleball Association, emphasized the event’s accessibility.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for anyone curious about pickleball to get involved,” McColgan said. “Whether you’re cheering on a friend or discovering a new passion, there’s something for everyone.”
