Tournament Details
The pickleball tournament is scheduled for April 5, 2025, and will feature doubles competitions in various divisions. The new men’s and women’s divisions for 2025 will allow for more focused and competitive play. The entry fee is $40 per player for a single event, and players can sign up for a second event for an additional $20.
Additional Tournament Information
Participants in the pickleball and tennis tournaments will receive food, T-shirts, and the chance to interact with Miss Mississippi contestants. A highlight of the pickleball event will be the participation of Miss Capital City, Anna Leah Jolly, who will be competing in the pickleball tournament. Other Miss Mississippi contestants and Miss Mississippi’s Teen contestants will also be volunteering at the event, some even attending both tournaments.
Miss Mississippi Presence
Lisa Boleware, the tournament director, mentioned that the contestants will not only be competing but also volunteering and cheering on participants. “Miss Mississippi will be at both events, and some of the contestants will be present for both the pickleball and tennis tournaments,” she said.
Registration Information
For those interested in participating in the pickleball tournament, the registration deadline is March 31, 2025. The tennis tournament, scheduled for April 11-13, will have its registration deadline on April 7.
