Oyster Bay’s Pickleball Tournament: The Town of Oyster Bay is hosting its first-ever pickleball tournament on May 17 and 18, 2025. Registration is currently open for all residents. The event will take place at new pickleball courts in Ellsworth Allen Park, Garrick Williams Park, and potentially Lenox Avenue Park if needed.
Tournament Details
Councilman Steve Labriola emphasized the surging popularity of pickleball, saying,
“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation, and our Town is proud to lead the way in creating opportunities for residents to enjoy this exciting game.” – (Labriola)
Participants are encouraged to grab a paddle, find a partner, and prepare for a weekend of fun and competition.

Registration is available and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each category will accept a maximum of 16 teams, and all teams will play at least three matches. Players must provide their paddles, and the tournament is open to all skill levels.

Men’s Over 40

Mixed Under 40
Mixed Over 40 (currently filled)

This tournament is a social play event and will not follow official USA pickleball regulations. The Town plans to consider skill level divisions for future events based on participant feedback.
