Oyster Bay Offers Exciting Pickleball Lessons: Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola announced that registration for May pickleball lessons will begin soon. These lessons, taught by a Level 1 PPR Certified Coach, aim to introduce newcomers to the fundamentals of pickleball or help hone the skills of those already familiar with the game.

Beginner: Thursdays, May 8, 15, 22, 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Allen Park, 45 Motor Ave., Farmingdale
Advanced Beginner: Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 20, 27 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Allen Park
Advanced Beginner: Thursdays, May 8, 15, 22, 29 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Allen Park
Intermediate: Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 20, 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Allen Park
Registration Information
Registration for residents begins on Tuesday, April 1, at 9:00 a.m. online. Non-residents can register starting April 8 at 9:00 a.m. Residents must provide proof of residency, such as a tax or utility bill, along with a valid identification card like a driver’s license. Fees are $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents.
Lessons are for adults aged 18 and over, last 1½ hours, and run for four consecutive weeks. Participants are encouraged to bring their paddles, as only a limited number will be available for borrowing.
