Registration Information
Registration for the tournament opens on April 1, 2025, at 1:00 AM CST and closes on June 1, 2025, at 11:55 PM CST. The fee is $30, but it will increase to $35 after April 21.
Participants who register by April 10 will receive a free event T-shirt. Players are also required to pay a $10 fee per event, while open divisions will cost $20 per event.
Tournament Format and Prizes
This pickleball tournament will feature several divisions, including 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0, with skill brackets based on the higher-rated player. All teams will play at least five games in a pool play format, with half advancing to bracket play.
In addition to the competitive play, the event boasts a $10,000 prize pot for 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 divisions, including singles and doubles events. The breakdown for prize money is as follows:
$6,000 for Open divisions:
1st place: $400 per person
2nd place: $200 per person
3rd place: $150 per person
$2,000 for 4.5 divisions:
1st place: $200 per person
2nd place: $125 per person
3rd place: $175 per person
$2,000 for 4.0 divisions:
1st place: $125 per person
2nd place: $75 per person
3rd place: $50 per person
Tournament Schedule
The event will follow this schedule:
Friday, June 6: 50+ Gender Doubles (late morning) and Singles (late afternoon)
Saturday, June 7: Gender Doubles
Sunday, June 8: Mixed Doubles, 50+ Mixed Doubles, and 70+ Coed Doubles
Additional Information
Each division represents a skill range, with players required to register in the division matching their highest-rated partner. The tournament will follow USA Pickleball rules, and the Franklin X-40 ball will be used. The tournament director may move players to a different skill level based on registration numbers.
Registrants must cancel by May 18, 2025, to receive a refund, minus a service fee. Cancellations after that date will not be refunded. As the event is outdoors, inclement weather may impact the tournament, though organizers will do their best to complete all events.
