Aspiring pickleball players in Milliken will have the opportunity to learn the game through a structured four-week lesson series at the Milliken Athletic Complex. The lessons, designed for beginners, will run from April 3 to April 24, 2025, every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Building Skills and Confidence
The lessons aim to introduce participants to the fundamentals of pickleball while building their confidence in a fun and supportive setting. Each session will include interactive drills and gameplay to help players understand the rules, develop proper techniques, and learn strategic gameplay.
To ensure individualized attention, class sizes are limited to eight participants. The sessions will take place on the outdoor pickleball courts at the Milliken Athletic Complex, where players will have access to paddles and pickleballs, though they are welcome to bring their own.
A Fun and Accessible Sport
Pickleball continues to grow in popularity as an accessible and engaging sport for all ages. These beginner-friendly lessons provide a structured learning environment, making it easier for newcomers to develop their skills. Tennis shoes are recommended for safety and ease of movement during play.
