The 5th Annual NWACS Charity Indoor Tournament will take place from July 18-20 at the Matrix Racquet Club in Lowell, Arkansas. This pickleball event will raise funds for the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter while bringing competitive pickleball to the region. Registration opens on April 2 at 8 a.m. CST and closes on July 14 at 11:55 p.m. CST.
Players will compete on indoor climate-controlled courts with a tennis court surface. The event will follow a round-robin format, with skill-based divisions. The schedule is as follows:
Friday – Men’s and Women’s Singles
Saturday – Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Open Doubles ($600 prize pool)
Sunday – Mixed Doubles
Matches will begin as early as 8 a.m. each day. Age brackets will be determined after registration, with teams competing at the level of the higher-rated player.
Scoring and Medal Rounds
Brackets with fewer than eight teams will play games to 15 points, while larger brackets will use 11-point games. Medal brackets will determine winners for first, second, and third place. Placement will be based on total matches won, head-to-head results, and point differentials.
This pickleball tournament director may merge smaller brackets to ensure fair competition. Awards will still be given based on original divisions.
Entry Fees and Refund Policy
Registration costs $45, with an additional $10 fee per event. Matrix Racquet Club members receive a $5 discount. Refunds will be available until July 14, minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
Parking and Event Perks
Free parking is available at the venue. Players can also enjoy a free pasta bar and cash bar at the Saturday Player Party from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
