El Paso Unveils 80K Dollar Pickleball Paradise: The City Parks and Recreation Department of El Paso held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the opening of new outdoor pickleball courts at Skyline Optimist Youth Park in northeast El Paso. Located at 5050 Yvette Ave, the courts are part of an $80,000 improvement project.

$80,000 Park Improvement Project

The newly completed pickleball courts were funded by the City of El Paso District 4 Discretionary Fund and the Parkland Dedication Fund. The project converted existing tennis courts into six dedicated pickleball courts and included the installation of new fencing and benches.

The addition of the pickleball courts is aimed at transforming Skyline Optimist Youth Park into a more vibrant outdoor space for visitors of all ages. The new courts provide a space for casual players and competitive matches.
