Registration Details and Costs
Registration for the tournament opens on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 PM CST. The early bird registration fee is $20, which increases to $40 on April 4. Those who register before April 28, 2025, will receive a free tournament shirt. The last day to register is May 7, 2025, with a deadline to withdraw for a refund set at midnight on May 7.
Tournament Schedule and Events
The tournament will kick off with the Paddle Pals family event on May 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Participants will have the chance to compete with their children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews.
On May 10, the main tournament will take place, beginning with Men’s and Women’s Doubles in the morning, followed by Mixed Doubles in the afternoon. Players may register for one or both events.
Skill Levels and Age Categories
The tournament will feature skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.5+ and will accommodate two age groups: 15+ and 50+. Teams must play at the skill level of the higher-rated player and in the age group of the younger player. Ratings will be based on DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating).
Tournament Rules and Refund Policy
Matches will be self-monitored, as there will be no referees, although tournament organizers will attempt to provide referees upon request. The tournament will be held outdoors, so players are encouraged to check for weather updates.
Players who need to withdraw can do so by May 7 for a refund, minus a $15 administrative fee. After this date, no refunds will be given unless players have purchased weather and injury insurance.
