Tournament Details
This recreational tournament is designed to bring together pickleball players, whether beginners or advanced, for an enjoyable time. The event will feature round-robin play, where teams will compete in pools of five or fewer teams, with games to 15 points (win by 1).
If there are six or more teams in a pool, games will be played to 11 points (win by 1). The top two teams from each pool will advance to medal rounds, where they will compete for gold, silver, and bronze.
The gold/silver/bronze matches will be a single game played to 15 points, with a two-point win requirement. This tournament is not a DUPR-rated event, meaning participants’ DUPR ratings will not be affected by their results.
Registration and Fees
Registration opens on April 4, 2025, and closes on May 31, 2025. The cost to enter is $25 per player, with an additional $5 non-refundable service fee per event. Those entering after May 26 will pay a price change of $25 per event.
The event proceeds will be used to improve pickleball in Sun Prairie, with concessions available for purchase, provided by the Sun Prairie Rotary Club.
Health and Safety
The tournament will have an on-site AED and first aid supplies to ensure the safety of all participants.
Parking and Refund Policy
Parking at the venue is free. If the tournament is canceled, refunds will be issued for withdrawals and waitlist players who do not get to compete. However, the $5 service fee per event is non-refundable. Event cancellations due to weather will not result in refunds.
