Master the Art of Dinking: Exclusive Pickleball Clinic Opens in Franklin

Master the Art of Dinking: A one-hour pickleball clinic focused on dinking drills will take place Thursday, April 10, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Avenue, Franklin. Instructor Marne Smith will lead the session on the outdoor courts at Academy Park.

The clinic is open to adults and will help players improve their dinking technique. Participants will learn how to control soft and hard dinks. The class aims to bolster a key part of the game that helps maintain rallies and build point opportunities.

Training Focus

The clinic will teach techniques for better ball control at the net. Dinking is a soft shot hit near the non-volley zone, and mastering it is crucial for smart, patient play. Players will practice gentle and more aggressive dinks during the one-hour session.

The clinic requires a minimum of three players. Space is limited, and participants are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.

Skills That Make a Difference

This clinic offers players a chance to focus on a skill often overlooked. Learning to dink well can lead to better game results. With more interest in pickleball training, future classes may become available.
