Fairfax’s New Adult Pickleball Program: A new pickleball program for adults begins April 24 in Fairfax. The Adult Pickleball Prime Time – Level 1 class runs weekly on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through May 15. Classes will be held at Van Dyck Tennis Courts 3 and 4.
Hosted by the City of Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department, the course is designed for beginners. Participants will learn the basic rules, techniques, and court positioning needed to get started in the sport.
Perfect for First-Time Players
This Level 1 program is ideal for adults new to pickleball. It offers structured, step-by-step training to help build confidence and skill. Players will practice movements, scoring, and how to use space on the court.
The instruction will be led by Laskar Tennis, an experienced group that specializes in tennis and pickleball education.

Location and Schedule Details
All sessions will take place at Van Dyck Tennis Courts in Fairfax. The courts are located near 10455 Armstrong Street, Suite 123. Each class runs for one hour, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning April 24 and ending May 15.
The program is offered by the City of Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department and is open to all adults interested in learning the sport.
