Beginner Pickleball Clinic at Culpeper Fieldhouse: A beginner-friendly pickleball clinic will be held on April 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse. Titled Pickleball 101: The Basics, the event aims to introduce local residents to one of America’s fastest-growing sports.
Led by the Culpeper Pickleball Club, the 90-minute session will cover game rules, scoring, and beginner skills. The event is open to all, especially newcomers who want to learn in a welcoming setting.
A Fun Way to Start Pickleball
The clinic is designed for beginners who want to try the sport. It will take place inside the Culpeper County Fieldhouse gymnasium, located at 16388 Competition Drive. Attendees will learn basic shots like dinks, drives, and serves.

The one and a half hour clinic at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse will provide an overview of basic rules and scoring as well as basic shots (dinks, drives, serves, etc.) and strategy.”
Equipment and Instructors Provided
Participants are encouraged to bring their own paddles, but extras will be available if needed.
“Please bring your own paddle if you have one. A limited number of extra paddles are available for use.”
The Culpeper Pickleball Club, which has years of playing experience, will lead the instruction.
