Delta Sigma Theta’s Lexington Pickleball Event Combines Competition with Community Impact

Lexington Pickleball Event: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host the Red, White, & Bluegrass Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Pickleball Paddock in Lexington. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and supports community outreach programs across Central Kentucky.

Six events will take place during the tournament. These include men’s and women’s doubles in 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 divisions. Each division will feature six teams competing in a round-robin format followed by championship rounds. The entry fee is $60 per team.

Purpose and Format

The tournament serves as a fundraiser to benefit outreach efforts led by the Lexington (KY) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The chapter has served Central and Southeast Kentucky since 193, promoting service and support through various programs.

Players can expect a full day of friendly competition, with matches beginning in the morning and continuing through the afternoon. Teams will battle it out in a structured format, giving everyone a fair chance to advance to the finals.
