The Picklr Discloses Bold Washington Expansion: New Clubs to Revolutionize Pickleball Scene

The Picklr’s Washington Expansion: The Picklr, a rapidly growing indoor pickleball franchise, will open two more clubs in Washington by the end of 2025. The new locations will be in Tacoma and Federal Way, adding to the franchise’s expansion plans across the country.

New Locations and Features

The Picklr’s first Washington location will open this fall in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, located in the former Theo Chocolate Warehouse. The newly announced Tacoma and Federal Way locations will provide more opportunities for pickleball players across the state.

The Tacoma location, at 2401 North Pearl Street, will offer 12 courts, including two championship-sized courts. The Federal Way location, situated at 27417 Pacific Highway South in the former LA Fitness building, will feature 13 courts, also with two championship-sized courts.

Top-Quality Facilities

Like the Fremont location, both Tacoma and Federal Way clubs will feature high-quality proprietary outdoor surfacing from Just Courts, the official court layer for The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) and The Picklr. Each location will also have a full pro shop and private event space for members to enjoy.

Membership and Services

The Picklr’s members will have access to unlimited open play, league play, and tournaments. They will also be able to sign up for private and semi-private lessons, as well as clinics led by certified trainers.

Expansion Plans

The opening of the Tacoma and Federal Way clubs is part of The Picklr’s national expansion plan, which includes more than 500 new locations over the next few years. The franchise’s growth is a response to the increasing popularity of pickleball across the country.

News in Brief: The Picklr’s Washington Expansion

The Picklr will open two new locations in Tacoma and Federal Way by 2025. The 43,000-square-foot Tacoma club and 42,000-square-foot Federal Way club will feature championship-sized courts, high-quality surfacing, and amenities such as pro shops and private event space. This is part of the franchise’s national expansion.
