Plans for the Facility
The warehouse is located at 1891 SW 12th Avenue in the Ocala Industrial Park. It currently stores materials from a nearby truck repair shop. The property, about 6.03 acres, is surrounded by other industrial businesses.
The proposed plan includes four pickleball courts, an office, a check-in area, and a small shop. The warehouse was built in 2017 after a 2016 site plan approval. It added to an original 8,358-square-foot warehouse built in 1982.
Development History
Along with the warehouse, fifteen parking spaces and a drainage area were added during the 2017 construction. A site plan also shows that two more warehouses could be built later. However, the property owner stated there will be no new buildings, only small upgrades like new signage.
