Longview Launches Beginner Pickleball Clinic at Broughton Rec Center

Pickleball Clinic at Broughton Rec Center: The City of Longview Parks and Recreation will host a Beginner Pickleball Clinic Level One on April 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Broughton Rec Center, 801 S Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The clinic is designed for brand-new players to learn the basics.

Event Details and What to Bring

The clinic welcomes anyone with little or no experience in pickleball. Participants will learn about the rules, equipment, and basic skills needed to start playing. Attendees must bring a pickleball paddle and a water bottle. Court shoes are highly suggested, but low-profile running shoes are also acceptable.

Location and Instructor Information

Though the event is promoted through City of Longview Parks and Recreation at 130 E. Timpson St., the clinic itself will take place at the Broughton Rec Center. Jessica Guire, an experienced instructor, will lead the session, guiding beginners through every step to help them feel confident on the court.
