Lake Conroe’s Pickleball Tournament: The Lake Conroe Senior Spring Invitational, presented by Ciro’s Italian Grill, will take place from May 2-4 at April Sound Country Club in Montgomery, Texas. The three-day pickleball event, benefiting Children’s Safe Harbour of Conroe, features singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches for players of various skill levels.
The tournament, which takes place on covered and outdoor courts, will kick off with singles matches on Friday, May 2. Saturday will focus on doubles play, while the event concludes with mixed doubles on Sunday, May 4.
Players will compete in different skill levels, ranging from 2.5 to 4.0+, with specific check-in times depending on the size of the brackets. National player points will also be awarded to US Senior Pickleball members in various age groups, including 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and others.
Participants can expect sponsor giveaways throughout the weekend, with lunch provided on Saturday by the April Sound Country Club. Children’s Safe Harbour of Conroe will also set up information booths on Saturday, May 3.
Tournament Details
The Lake Conroe Senior Spring Invitational is open to players of all levels, including beginners. The event’s structure is as follows:
Friday: Singles, including Skinny Singles (half court) and Traditional Singles (full court)
Saturday: Men’s and Women’s Doubles (Skill levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+)
Sunday: Mixed Doubles (Skill levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+)
Registration fees are per player, and participants are reminded that payment must be completed to ensure their spot in the tournament.
