Derby Education Foundation Launches Pickleball Tournament to Boost Local Schools

Derby Education Foundation Pickleball Fundraiser: The Derby Education Foundation (DEF) will hold a fundraising pickleball tournament on June 7 at the Sandbox, located at 2412 N. Rock Rd. The event will feature doubles matches, with the men’s category starting at 8 a.m., women’s at 11 a.m., and mixed at 2 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward DEF’s general fund, which benefits USD 260 students and teachers.

The event offers players a chance to compete in a fun and competitive environment while supporting education. The cost to enter the tournament is $70 per player for the first entry and $30 for the second entry.
