Pickle Park & Pub Astor Park Opening: Pickle Park & Pub will open in early 2026 as the first retail tenant in the Astor Park Office development across from Lower.com Field. The new venue will offer pickleball courts, golf simulators, dining, and retail, combining sports and social activity in downtown Columbus.
A New Kind of Venue
The 17,250-square-foot space will include six pickleball courts—five indoors and one outdoors—as well as golf simulators, a full-service bar, and a chef-led kitchen. A patio will overlook the soccer stadium, offering visitors scenic views while they eat, drink, or relax.
“This concept is the perfect complement to our vision for Astor Park,” said Joel Pizzuti, President and CEO of The Pizzuti Companies.
Extra Features and Future Plans
The venue will be membership-based. Members will use an app to reserve courts, book lessons, and interact with others. A retail section will sell pickleball equipment and apparel.
Astor Park Office also houses BBI Logistics and is part of a bigger development plan that includes housing, art, and parks. Residential construction began in April.
Community Impact and What’s Next
Pickle Park & Pub is expected to bring more activity and energy to the Astor Park area. The space will offer a mix of sports, food, and community engagement in one spot. Developers believe it will help attract more visitors and residents to the growing neighborhood.
