New Pickleball Venue in Houston: A new pickleball venue is opening soon in Houston, Texas. Rallies Pickleball Club is turning a former Pangco Furniture warehouse into a 17-court indoor pickleball center. Located at 13401 Gulf Freeway, the 50,000-square-foot space is set to open later this month with courts available 24 hours a day.
A New Use for an Old Space
The building was once used by Pangco Furniture but is now being repurposed to meet the growing demand for pickleball in the city. The developers behind this project are Hesham Suliman and Arthur Romero.
Arthur Romero also owns The Pickleball Spot, located at 5310 Elm Street in Houston. Hesham Suliman has run several family entertainment centers before this project.
Facility and Court Details
The large indoor space will have 17 courts. Twelve of those will be championship-level courts. All courts will have easy access from nearby aisles, and players will be able to play at any time of day or night, as the club will stay open 24 hours.
Construction and Design Team
First Deco Group served as the general contractor for the full design and interior construction. Quality Courts and Outdoors, based in Spring, Texas, handled building the courts themselves. Their work helped transform the empty furniture warehouse into a full pickleball venue.
More Courts, More Play
This new indoor facility is expected to bring more players into the sport and offer a place to play in all weather conditions. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., and Houston’s players now have another spot to compete, train, and enjoy the game.
