On Saturday, May 10, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Briarcliff Manor will host the Picks & Pickleball Spring Festival 2025 at Chilmark Village Park. The free event will offer live music, food, drinks, kids’ activities, and a community pickleball tournament, with a rain date set for May 17.
The family-friendly celebration invites people of all ages to enjoy music, games, and entertainment in a relaxed park setting. A major part of the event is a casual pickleball tournament managed by Cross Court Pickleball Hawthorne. The festival will also include games for adults, costumed goats, and areas where kids and adults can try playing pickleball.
Pickleball and Play for Everyone
The pickleball games will include a lighthearted tournament organized by Cross Court Pickleball Hawthorne. There will be warmup courts and a special Kids’ Court, giving all ages a chance to grab a paddle and try the sport. While the event is free to attend, joining the tournament requires paid registration.
Children can enjoy the fun-filled Kids’ Zone, which features activities like sensory play, sports, bubbles, crafts, and a soft play area for younger kids. Friendly goats in costumes will also be at the event for petting and play. The Kids’ Zone is managed by Macaroni KID Chappaqua Armonk Mt Kisco.
Music and Food Fill the Park
Five local bands will play throughout the day, starting with The Mom Band at 1:00 PM, followed by Quasi Normal Band at 2:00 PM, School of Rock Briarcliff Manor at 3:00 PM, Femme Fighters at 4:00 PM, and Barn Vultures at 5:00 PM. Femme Fighters, an all-female rock band, describes their performance.
Food and drinks will be available from vendors like George’s Wood-Fired Pizza, Father & Son’s BBQ, Rosie’s Empanadas, Duck Donuts, and Ludy Cafe. Beer will be served by Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
