New Pickleball Courts Now Open
Ankeny’s Rally Complex has officially opened its 12 outdoor pickleball courts to the public. These courts are lighted, allowing for day and night play. Restrooms and a shelter are also ready for use.
Other parts of the complex are still being built. Two softball fields and batting cages are under construction and will open later this summer. Nick Lenox, director of Ankeny Parks and Recreation, said the project helps meet local demand.
