Honcho Pickleball Summer League: The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas is teaming up with Honcho Pickleball to launch a summer pickleball league starting Tuesday, June 10. The league is open to all players aged 18 and older and will take place on the resort’s 16 rooftop courts, the most at any Las Vegas resort.
Summer League Offers Fun and Competition
The league runs for six weeks, followed by two weeks of playoffs. Participants can compete at various skill levels, including novice, intermediate, upper intermediate, and advanced. Players may sign up as a team of two for $238 or as individuals for $119, with solo players being paired up on-site.
Each week, players will compete in scheduled matches with no court fees. All registered participants will also receive free Honcho-branded gear and have the chance to win a champion prize package valued at $600.
Extra Perks and National Tournament Spot
After each match, participants are invited to the exclusive Honcho happy hour at Carousel Bar to relax and socialize with fellow players. Teams will also compete for a spot in the Honcho National Tournament, which brings together the top three teams from every local league and skill division at the end of the year.
Pickleball Popularity Grows at The Plaza
The Plaza Hotel & Casino continues to support the rise of pickleball in Las Vegas. With its large rooftop court setup and partnership with Honcho, the resort provides an exciting venue for competitive and casual players. This league adds to the growing number of organized events that help expand access to pickleball across all levels of experience.
