“I remember when we drew this sketch on a napkin and now it’s here, now it’s come to life. Seeing people’s reactions, people are in awe.” – (Rachel Mullin)
“Seeing it through their eyes has been pretty incredible. We watched this get built piece by piece, but we get to relive that moment every time someone walks in, and it’s spectacular.” – (Rachel Mullin)
Training for All Skill Levels
TM Fieldhouse can hold up to 1,370 people and is the first of its kind in Lee’s Summit. The space is built for athletes from beginners to advanced players, giving them a chance to train in a high-quality environment.
“We’re here to touch lives, make better athletes, make better people.” – (Rachel Mullin)
“We’re here to create a public space for teams to access at TM Fieldhouse, from recreation to high-level competitive athletes, to train like a professional in an atmosphere that a pro would train in. This isn’t just a place to train your body, but a place to be guided throughout the process.” – (Rachel Mullin)
Events and Community Involvement
TM Fieldhouse already has two pickleball fundraiser events planned. The first will take place in May to benefit Foster Light, and the second will happen in June for Pro Deo Youth Center.
The facility will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
What It Means for the Community
The opening of TM Fieldhouse brings new opportunities for sports training and recreation in Lee’s Summit. With space for casual and competitive players, the facility hopes to support personal growth and stronger local teams. It also adds a community-focused space for hosting events and fundraisers.
