The Picklr’s Indoor Pickleball Expansion: The Picklr, an indoor pickleball company based in Kaysville, Utah, has announced two new locations in Washington. One will open in Tacoma and the other in Federal Way. The new courts are part of the company’s nationwide growth plan and will open later this year.
The Picklr Tacoma will be at 2401 North Pearl Street in a brand-new building. It will offer 12 courts, including two championship-sized courts, across 43,000 square feet. It is expected to open in September.
The Picklr Federal Way will be located in the old LA Fitness building at 27417 Pacific Highway South. This club will have 13 courts, also with two championship-sized courts, in a 42,000-square-foot space. It is set to open by the end of 2025.
New Facilities with Member Benefits
Both clubs will feature special court surfaces made by Just Courts. Just Courts is the official surface provider for the Professional Pickleball Association and The Picklr.
Each location will also include a pro shop and space for private events. Members will have unlimited access to open play, leagues, and tournaments. They can also join private or semi-private lessons and clinics taught by certified coaches. Members can use their benefits at any Picklr club in the country.
Owners Share Excitement
Beau Brooks and Kami Brooks, owners of The Picklr Tacoma, believe this will bring something special to the community.

Sanket Mehta and Manish Kapadia, who own The Picklr Federal Way, shared their thoughts about the new facility. “The club is more than just a place to play — it’s a vibrant, welcoming community where players of all ages and skill levels can connect, grow, and thrive through the game of pickleball,” they said in a statement.
A Growing National Presence
The two new locations are part of a large expansion plan. Over the next few years, The Picklr aims to open more than 500 clubs with around 5,000 courts across the U.S.
The rise in pickleball’s popularity has led to increased demand for indoor courts. The Picklr’s new clubs in Tacoma and Federal Way are expected to serve players of all ages, offering more access to courts and training options in the South Sound region.
