Sparta Pickleball Workshop: TJD Sports Academy is teaming up with Sparta Recreation to offer a six-week beginner pickleball workshop for seniors aged 60 and older. The program costs $130 per person and will take place on Tuesdays from July 15 through August 19 at Station Park Basketball Courts, located at 100 Station Road.
Workshop Details
The sessions are scheduled for every Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Participants will receive 75 minutes of small-group instruction each week. The workshop is designed to help seniors learn the basics of pickleball, including game rules, proper techniques, and smart strategies for playing.
All classes will be led by certified instructors from TJD Sports Academy. These instructors are trained and certified by the Professional Pickleball Registry, also known as PPR. Players are encouraged to bring their paddle, although this is optional.
Focus on Seniors
This program is meant for beginners aged 60 and up. The smaller class size allows each participant to get more personal help from the instructors.
