Pickle for Paws Tournament Serves Up Fun, Food, and Second Chances for Shelter Animals

Pickle for Paws Tournament: The Humane Society of Greenwood is holding a pickleball tournament to help animals in need. The event, called Pickle for Paws, takes place on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, at the Courts at Gatewood in Greenwood, South Carolina. The tournament includes men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles.

Although registration is now closed, people can still support the cause by donating online. All proceeds go toward the care of animals at the shelter.

How to Help the Humane Society

While no more teams can register, donations are still being accepted through the Humane Society of Greenwood’s official website. People can also help by visiting the shelter, located at 2820 Airport Road in Greenwood. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 5 p.m.
