Dunkirk Pickleball Tournament: A three-day pickleball tournament will take place from May 16 to 18 at Dunkirk District Park to support hunger relief efforts. The event is being hosted by End Hunger in Calvert County and the Community Harvest Network. The tournament will raise money to help families in Southern Maryland.
The matches will be held at 10750 Southern Maryland Boulevard in Dunkirk. Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete, and spectators can attend for free.
Pickleball for a Purpose
The tournament will include brackets for men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles, with skill levels from 3.0 to 5.0. There will also be a junior beginner division for kids aged 9 to 16.
Here is the schedule:
Friday, May 16: Men’s and women’s singles, junior beginners, starting at noon.
Saturday, May 17: Men’s and women’s doubles, starting at 9 a.m.
Sunday, May 18: Mixed doubles, starting at 9 a.m.
Food vendors, raffles, and booths with community resources will also be on-site.
Bringing the Community Together
