Sports Legends Face Off in Vancouver Pickleball Charity Showdown

Vancouver Pickleball Charity Showdown: A group of former professional athletes from the BC Lions, Vancouver Canucks, and Vancouver Whitecaps will play in a pickleball charity challenge next month. The one-day event will happen on June 7 at the Richmond Country Club from 12 to 3 p.m. and will raise money for local charities.

Stars on the Court for a Cause

The challenge will include former players such as Ed Hatoum and Nathan LaFayette from the Vancouver Canucks, Geroy Simon from the BC Lions, and Bobby Lenarduzzi and Tosaint Ricketts from the Vancouver Whitecaps. Professional pickleball players will also take part in the tournament.

The event is not just for watching. Fans can bid online for a chance to play on the same court as their favorite athletes. The starting bid is $100. The auction closes on May 31.

Ticket Details and Extras

Fans can buy tickets in advance for different experiences. General admission is $25. Brunch and tournament access cost $100. VIP tickets are $150 and include front-row seats and preferred parking.

Food and other fan perks will also be part of the event. Attendees will get to enjoy the games while supporting good causes.

The winning athletes will choose which charity receives their share of the funds. Charities taking part include Canuck Place, Heads Up Guys, Rick’s Heart Foundation, and the Whitecaps Foundation.
