Ace Pickleball Club’s Grand Opening in Millard: A new 32,000-square-foot indoor pickleball club officially opened on Friday, May 16, 2025, in Millard. Army veterans Liz Tanji and her husband, Michael Tanji, launched Ace Pickleball Club at 13423 F Street in Omaha, Nebraska, turning their longtime dream into reality through hard work and dedication.

Veterans Launch New Business

Liz Tanji said opening the business is part of her desire to continue serving others, just like she did in the Army.

“There’s no taking a day off in the military, and there’s no taking a day off when you own your own business.” – (Liz Tanji)

She admitted that starting a business was not always easy. But she relied on her military skills, like teamwork and determination, to succeed.

“It’s really it’s important to treat employees well, like you do in the military. It’s that camaraderie.” – (Liz Tanji)

Building a Pickleball Community

The couple decided to explore new opportunities and discovered pickleball. Liz Tanji said the sport offers more than physical activity—it also helps people connect and form friendships.

The club features several indoor courts where people can drop in and play. It also offers memberships and hosts tournaments.
