The data was gathered through surveys of three groups: campers from The Dyrt community, a national sample of U.S. residents, and campground property managers from all 50 states.
Pickleball courts nearly doubled the next most popular new feature: Wi-Fi, which was added by 9.8% of properties. Swimming pools, hot tubs, dog parks, kayaks, canoes, and bicycles were also added, but not as often as pickleball courts.

The report states that private campgrounds were 29% more likely to add courts than any other amenity in 2024. That puts pickleball ahead of all other new features considered by campground managers.
