McDonough County Pickleball Round Robin Rallies Community for St. Jude

McDonough County’s Pickleball Round Robin: Pickleball players in McDonough County will gather on Saturday, June 1, 2025, for the second annual charity event supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The tournament, held at the YMCA of McDonough County, will feature round-robin play in competitive and social divisions. Games start at 9:00 a.m., and all proceeds will go to St. Jude’s mission to treat and defeat childhood cancer.

Playing for a Cause

This one-day pickleball event is open to players of all skill levels. Using rally scoring, players will compete in round-robin matches on indoor and outdoor courts. Two brackets are available—one for serious players and another for those who just want to have fun.

Participants can register for $25 or pay $40 to include an event t-shirt. For those wanting to go the extra mile, a $100 donation makes them a St. Jude Hero. That option includes entry, a t-shirt, a cooler bag, a water bottle, and on-site recognition.

All registration must be completed by Saturday, June 1. However, players must sign up by May 25 to guarantee an event t-shirt.

Why This Event Matters

The pickleball tournament is more than just a day of games. It’s a community-led effort to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a place known for helping children fight cancer without families ever receiving a bill. Every entry fee and donation brings hope to young patients and their loved ones.
